Origin Details
Coffee holds a special place in the Ethiopian culture. It totally differs
from other coffee producing countries that simply produce coffee as a
cash crop. OCFCU is a democratic farmer-owned coop established in
1999 that works exclusively in Oromia Regional State, which accounts
for more than 65% of the country’s total coffee growing land. Operating
under the principles of International Cooperative Alliance and fair trade,
members farmers process and supply high quality, organic Arabica
coffee for direct export.
